The Four Eyes Club
So after twenty-six years of nearly 20/20 vision...the time has finally come. I have now joined the rest of you in the four eyes club. I have to wear my new glasses for driving, going to the theatre, going to games and seeing anything else more than ten feet away. Dig.
I opted to go for the hipster look...funky yet elegant (is that possible?), tortoise shell, square-ish frames. It was either that or the teacher look. Decided that I'd rather look nerdy than smart. At any rate, maybe one day when I break down and buy a freakin' digital camera I'll post a picture. Don't hold your breath - I just spent my digital camera money on my correctional lenses.
Anyway, thanks to all of you who offered your services in the "making sure Jill got cool frames" event. Although I still feel it's more like the "1950's, horn-rimmed glasses, at first glance slacker nerdy girl who sits in the back of the classroom but turns out to be the brains and friend of the entire class" look. I guess the verdict remains to be "seen".

Man, you guys make me feel like a sexy glasses wearin' mama already! You so sweet!! And yes...I remember that sunny day back in A&R when I was able to lend my fashion consultant skills to a friend in need. It may have even been an inspiration for me earlier this week...a day that brought the six of us closer...
