Next Weekend Stuff

This coming weekend is going to be a big one. Aside from the fact that several of my Memphian peeps will be in town, there are a couple of killer shows. So take notice.

Ohio-based blues-rock combo, The Black Keys, are playing the Mercy Lounge this Friday at 9p. They've got a bit of the Hendrix vibe, mixed with a modern day rock sound. Word has it that their shows are off the hook, so I guess we'll find out on Friday. You can buy tickets online here.

On Saturday, Brazilian/New Yorker indie poppers, The Mosquitos, will be tearing it up at The Exit/In at 8p. Hotties, culture and great music. What more could you ask for? So be cultured and I'll see you there.
