Rocky Mountain High

So I'm in Denver all week on business. First time here and I will say, I like it. It's a hard city to describe...there's not really a huge "wow" factor...but it's just very nice. Something about it makes me feel all tingly inside. Maybe it's the Stella. Maybe it's the air, or lack thereof.

I'm stuck downtown all week, which usually isn't a pleasant thing in most cities. However, this downtown is way clean, way pretty, and way fab clothing boutiques. It's trendy, but not trendy like Nashville. Like a cooler, I don't think I'm hot as shit trendy. Good stuff. Beautiful weather...similar to Nashville minus the horrendous humidity. I like it here...alot. Yet I can't explain it. Hmmmmm.

At any rate...it's business, business, business with a little shopping and drinking squeezed in. Gotta love it. Free everything on the company. The way it should be. I was hoping to go to visit some friends in Breckenridge this weekend, but we'll see how that plays out. Plane ticket is fully refundable, so I can do whatever I want. Wait...I do that anyway.

Anyway...yeah. Going for more Stella...

Denver is a beautiful city, isn't it? I have an old boyfriend who lives in Colorado Springs, which is also a really awesome place to visit.

Way to go on the company picking up the tab--do it big or go home, right?! :)

I just texted you to see if you have your laptop with you. Obviously you do. Make sure to have some Fat Tire for me while you're there, and tell my brother to come down the mountain to see you. Have fun!

The scenery in Denver is similar to Arizona's. Although, Arizona has cacti, sauna-like weather, a crappy downtown, absolutely no clouds, is literally on fire at the moment, only has snow in the North, doesn’t have any real seasons, and is considered a Valley. Ok, so only the mountains are the same. At least it's closer to AZ than TN.

C'mon down for a visit on the company's dime...we've got Stella here too!
