There's No Place Like Home Hollywood

Today is a day to celebrate. Today is a day to throw a few Stellas back. Today is the day that I'm "signing" the lease (from 2,000 miles away) to my brand new West Hollywood apartment, effective October 1st!!

Have I seen it? No.

Do I have pictures? No.

But thanks to my old friend and new roommie, California Spice, I managed to get something lined up before I'm even out there. No couch camping or box living for me! Call me spoiled. Or completely blessed.

You're probably thinking that I'm crazy. This is true, however, I wouldn't trust anyone else besides this cat to pick me out a pimpin', retro, palm tree lined pad. And that's exactly what we've got. Hardwood floors, brand new carpet, retro-modern light fixtures, courtyard with tropical flowers, balcony...

Have I mentioned palm trees?

And...the shoppers of the bunch will love this one...I'll be living just a couple of blocks off Melrose. Total walking distance from the shopping experience of a lifetime. Another reason to come visit me.

For those of you who don't know LA, I'll be living just below the Hollywood Hills (where all the stars live) and a few minutes from the Sunset Strip, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Burbank (which is where most of the record labels, studios, and other entertainment businesses are). Less than thirty minutes away from Santa Monica and Venice Beach, with Malibu not too far up the PCH. More importantly, I'll be super close to some of my fave bars like Beauty Bar and Burgundy Room.

Okay, you can wake me up now. I think I'm dreaming.

I don't know if I could handle all that excitement, but I know you're going to love it. I'm glad it came through.

Good for you, following your heart. It's always a beautiful thing to behold.

    Yep. You're wrong. Really.

In the meantime, there's a $29 manners class in town that you can take.

By the way, how much is that you take home a year?

    Ouch!

    I stubbed my toe.

Ok, congrats! I think last time we were on Melrose sifting through the Urban Outfitter clothes, sipping on smoothies, and looking for toilet paper, we probably came across your new pad. We might not have noticed it in the midst of all the martinis, hot men, celebs, and bright lights.

I'll be out to visit soon enough and just think...

1)Only 6 more days until ciaobella and Jill reunite in Arizona! Mass hysteria. AND
    2)We'll practically be neighbors!!!

Jag - Sorry...I was sitting in a room full of smart asses on that one. We were on a roll. I didn't realize how harsh my comment came across until now.

Thanks for the congrats. Now on to the next issue...I just found out we don't have a refrigerator.

I really just want to meet this roommate. He's been absent from commenting for a long time. Where is he?

I couldn't understand your message. Was it the one of your mom that was cracking you up?
