Nashville Music, Last Call
Now that I'm feeling recovered from Jill and Herself's Big Adventure, I wanted to call out a few Nashville shows that make me sad that I will miss. All of a sudden it's killer band central. So...as my last recommendations of shows on your side of the Rockies...I highly recommend you check these out:
- 10.16 ~ Green Day (rescheduled) @ The GEC
- 10.17 ~ Cat Power @ Mercy Lounge ~ Doors open at 7:30p
- 10.18 ~ The New Pornographers w/ The Destroyers @ Mercy Lounge ~ 8:30p
- 10.26 ~ The Bravery @ Exit/In ~ 8p
- 10.31 ~ The Shout Out Louds @ Exit/In
- 11.11 ~ LCD Soundsystem @ City Hall
- 11.14 ~ Ted Leo & the Pharmacists @ Exit/In ~ 8p, $12
- 11.14 ~ Bright Eyes w/ Feist @ Ryman Auditorium ~ 7:30p, $25.50
Rock on, my friends. In the meantime, I'll be doing it West Coast style.

It's just a freak concert thing don't sweat it.
Oh you forgot Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. But that aside... you're going to be in show overload while you're there!!!!!!!
We're the ones who are envious!

This is true. The sadness just lasted for a second. I've already been out most nights here seeing bands play. Everything's happening so fast I haven't even had time to review!
Once I get my groove (and my furniture) I'll be more on it. Then you can vicariously live the LA life through this ol' thang.
