Dad, Dad, Dad-e-o
No, not as in George McFly. As in Elvis, my dad. At least, that's what everyone calls him.
At any rate, he's making his first trip to Los Angeles today to visit his oldest daughter, moi. The top five things on his "to do" list are visit with me, visit with me and my guy, drink and listen to music, go to cool bars, and go to the beach. Like father, like daughter.
So I'm excited. I get to leave work early today (woo hoo!) to pick him up from the airport. Then we head over Laurel Canyon to drop his bags in Hollywood, stir up the all-time Presley classic, Captain Morgan's and Diet Vernors. It's meet the boyfriend night and I've got no qualms about it.
Not sure where the night will take us, but I'm sure it will end up in mass hysteria. In a good way, of course. All I know is that the next week will be full of crazy adventures in the City of Angels. Can't wait!

I was showing Elvis some pics last night and when it got to the ones when we were at Beachwood in Venice he said, that Newton, he's a good kid. Kev loves him.
That's when I said, but of course. Would you expect anything less from the big sis?
