Moving, Music, Movies & A Facial
In no particular order.
So almost a year after I made the move out to the Wild West, here I am, packing up my cute little 60's retro pad and hunting for a place of my own. Yes, that's right. No more roommies for me. I might end up hurting someone. And I'm not speaking figuratively.
In between the boxes, dust, and lack of food in the fridge, I've managed to score tix to The Black Keys' show tonight at The Avalon on Vine. They were in my top three shows of 2005, so we'll see how they do on their Magic Potion tour. The record is superb. I have a feeling the show will be, too.
On Saturday morning, thanks to my knight in shining armor, I have a facial day at Aris, the exclusive spa for the 2005 and 2006 Emmy Award Nominees in Thousand Oaks. I've never had a facial before, so I'm super excited. They're kind of a big deal out here and it couldn't have come at a better time. Two weeks later, I'm meeting his dad's side of the family. If nothing else, at least my complexion will be fabulous.
At some point in between the packing and apartment hunting, I hope to go catch a flick or two. The Black Dahlia and The Last Kiss are at the top of my list. Ha...I like a little variety in my tastes. We'll see how it goes.
