Parties In Da 'Hood

Tonight I am going to take a break from the mountains of physical labor I've been doing every night trying to get my apartment in order. I'm going to rest up, chill out and prepare for the old-fashioned partying that is going to take place this weekend. While watching Grey's Anatomy, of course.

Friday night, dinner party in Silver Lake then on to the bar where the bartender gives us free drinks all night long.

Saturday, drink lots of water to rehydrate self for the shindig (a.k.a. The "Nash-Angeles" Party) that's happening in my new 'hood. As theory has it, everyone that is currently living in Los Angeles but used to live in Nashville is on the VIP list. So far it looks as though we're going to have over thirty guests (the last time I said that it turned into sixty right before my eyes), hot cider, pretty lights strung through the trees, and a chocolate fountain*. (*Because what's a Fall Harvest Party without a chocolate fountain???) Not to mention the fabulous music that I am going to be DJing all night long.
