The Viper Is No Stranger To Me

It has been a while since I paid a visit to Johnny's Hollywood rock club. For a while, it became too much of a pretentious pain in the a$$. However, after waiting behind the velvet rope to get my name plus one checked off the list, the smell of incense couldn't have been more welcoming.

The band was Hello Stranger. The sound was modern Blondie complete with keyboard guitar. A little retro, a little hippie...these guys know how to rock out. Full of disco sounds and electric lyrics, this is an LA band that might stick around for a while. Check 'em out.

My beverage of the evening was Vanilla Stoli and Diet Coke. My classic Viper drink. All in all it was fun, although we made it an early night and didn't stick around to see the headliner. I know, I know. But I'm a working girl. What can I say?
